The IGA library, in its new home on the sixth floor, has a growing collection of books--13.100 at last count! Most of the books are in English but there are also collections of books in Korean, Spanish, and Turkish. The collection, which is constantly growing and improving, keeps the librarian and her volunteer assistants busy as they enter each new book in the electronic library system and label each for the shelves. Elementary students have a designated library time each week: they come for a read-aloud time and can select books to check out. Secondary students visit the library during study halls or during lunch breaks. The library is open Wednesday through Friday each week. The librarian also coordinates book clubs and book fairs in cooperation with the Greenhouse bookstore.
